Realizing I haven't explained the no heater thing, I thought I would take this opportunity to do so. I haven't exactly calculated how long my car has been with out heat, but its been a while. At least before November. One fateful day I was driving up the hill by the Provo dollar theater and the University Mall and ka-bang---- my car shut off. Just like that. I managed to turn it back on and everything seemed fine until I tried the heater. Nothing. I talked to a wise person (my dad) and he mentioned that I might have blown a fuse, so my great hubby spent an hour late one night crouched down looking at my fusebox. Blow a fuse I had! And it melted in the box and fried the wires to everything. The repair place said it would be $600 bucks to fix and seeing that we really didn't want to dump more money into my car (it's like the Money Pit, has anyone ever seen that movie with Tom Hanks?) we decided against repairing it. Now I have been driving around in this freezing weather with no heat. And before you freak out, Buddy graciously has offered to drive it many times, but I can't bring myself to let him. Imean it's my problem car, not his. And I keep insisting that it's a good car. So, I just bundle up and go. Recently with all the snowy weather though, my windows fog up and not having a defrost, I have to roll all the windows down so I can actually see. So if you ever see a Mercury Mystique cruising Provo with the windows down during a snowstorm, it's probably me! And no I am not THAT crazy.
*I just looked out the window and it's snowing. Whoop-dee-do. I get to drive home with the windows down! :)
